SANTO DOMINGO.- “Real Estate from a Legal Point of View” is the book that prominent lawyer Reyna Echenique launched last night, May 27, as a contribution to strengthening legal security in the Dominican real estate sector.
“It’s not just a book, it’s a tool, a practical guide, with no fine print, born from the real-world experience of my two great passions: Real Estate Law and the real estate business. It’s the answer to those complex questions from clients,” explained the CEO of Echenique Group, who has over 20 years of experience in real estate.
She said the book is also the answer to a question everyone in the real estate sector has asked themselves at some point. “It’s the tool I myself wish I’d had when I started in this fascinating world of real estate,” the author said during the presentation held at a hotel in the capital.
Echenique explained that the text is designed to serve as a bridge between the legal and el inmobiliarioworlds, providing support, a foundation, and a framework. "So that each real estate advisor can offer a more complete and professional service.".
He maintained that the document is also designed to help each buyer and seller better understand their rights, obligations, and responsibilities. "So that each investor can make more informed and confident decisions," he stated.
““My dream is to see a Dominican real estate sector that is increasingly professional, safer, and more reliable,” commented the so-called Queen of Real Estate, before a large group of guests who accompanied her at the birth of her first literary genre.
Echenique thanked her family, the Association of Real Estate Agencies and Companies (AEI), her mentors and people who supported this initiative and for accompanying her in the process.

The book was presented by lawyer Darnetty Lugo, who highlighted the text's importance because it successfully brings together the real estate and legal worlds in a single work. "Reyna has achieved what seemed impossible: to clearly and precisely systematize the entire legal framework that regulates real estate ownership in the Dominican Republic, presenting it in an accessible way for both legal professionals and those who participate daily in the dynamic real estate market," she noted.
At the event, which was attended by the main real estate agencies of the Dominican capital, recognition was given to the Association of Real Estate Agents and Companies (AEI), to Magistrate Franklin Concepción and to Gelda Cáceres, for their constant support of the author.
